Lens-A-Hand Artist Group hosted the 2009 Veteran's Memorial Art & History Exhibition to honor our heroes – our Veterans.

May 23, 2009 – May 30, 2009 Lens-A-Hand Images, Ltd. hosted the 2009 Veteran's Memorial Art & History Exhibition in downtown Newark, OH.  Visitors strolled throughout the historic downtown area enjoying the artworks submitted by artists from around the U.S.  These works of art were created to honor our veterans. Live music, free food, beverages, and flags were available to attendees as they wandered through one of the few vintage glass ceilinged malls in the country (the Arcade) where the main exhibition hall was located.  Visitors traveled back in time and to far away places as they read about our veteran's personal stories at the history stations on display throughout the historic Arcade and 20+ participating downtown businesses around the square.  Lens-A-Hand Artist Group donated 51% of their proceeds from artwork sales to veteran's initiatives so attendees supported our veteran's through their artwork purchases.  The response from veterans and the public was astounding and we hope to do it again next year.
